October 2008 Highlights

Last General Meeting we invited Mr Zamzuri Abdul Malik (aka Abang Zam) from the Malaysian Aids Council to conduct an interactive youth session during our Club meeting.



It was a fun cum informative session where 20 of us (interactors & rotaractors) discover about HIV/AIDS in an interactive approach. Abang Zam was later being treated to Nasi Beratur - yes, it is LINE UP RICE. President Kelvin and PP Bernard had to stand in line for more than 45 minutes. Line Up it is.

Up next in the LINE is our next general meeting this coming Friday (24 October 2008) in Penang Youth Centre. We will be having a team meeting with the Interact Coordinating Council on Project GOssip Penang 09 starting 7.00pm. Members are welcome to join us. Meeting starts at 8.30pm sharp. Late comers and the non-punctuals shall 'contribute' for the fellowship session after the meeting.

*Members volunteering as Group Discussion Leaders (GDL) for this Conference, kindly inform President Kelvin by 30 October 2008.

Past President Jefferson Tio (also known as JEFF T.) delivered a powerful and inspiring preview on Youth Empowerment : Personal Leadership. 25 young people including Interactors, Rotarians, Rotaractors and guests who attended our weekly General Meeting had a first hand Insight to this preview.
